No matter what you think your level is, please enter the SkillsTrain 2007 ICT Competition.  We will publish every website, providing it meets the Criteria for Entry.  Your website will therefore appear on the Internet.   You can show your friends and family, also you can show prospective employers.  So, there is every reason to enter no matter what your ICT level.

You should get working on your site immediately.  Remember, you must submit your website to us as a zipped file not later than 12 midnight on 17 December 2007.  The winning entry will be announced on the Student World website on 19 December 2007.

You should submit your website via Student World.  Obviously you will need your username and password to gain access to Student World.

Once you have entered Student World please go to Classroom and choose the link named Competitions, then choose the link from the blue right hand pane entitled Submit Your Website.

Please try to submit your website as soon as possible, we would rather everyone didn't leave it until the last minute!

When zipping your website, please do so from within the main site folder rather than zipping the containing folder itself.  For example, if your website is held on your computer in a folder called "websitecomp", please zip everything within "websitecomp", including any subfolders, rather than "websitecomp" directly.

It's important to remember that your website must contain a minimum of THREE external links (links to websites outside of your website), it must not contain more that FIVE pages and the maximum size of the zipped file should be no more than 2 MB.  The home/default page in your website must be named index.html or index.htm.

You must also include the SkillsTrain logo with a link to http://www.skillstrainuk.com on the top of your home page.  You can download the SkillsTrain logo by clicking here.
